Can I apply for a card without a credit history in the U.S.?
Yes. We verify the length of time of employment with the sponsoring company, earnings in home country, as well as, U.S. income and we obtain current contact address in home country and/or the U.S. Therefore, when applying for this card, please provide related information from your home country. Please note, not all requests for credit will be approved.
After I apply, how long does it take to receive my Premio Card?
It takes approximately one month. Upon approval, you will receive your card along with card member agreement explaining the features, benefits, and details pertaining to the use of your card.
I don't have a Social Security Number yet. Can I apply for a credit card?
Yes you can. However, we may request substitute documents such as a copy of your passport or visa, or address verification. You can still apply even if you are not able to obtain a Social Security Number due to your visa status.
Can a card be mailed to my work address?
Neither company name nor department name will print on the card envelope. A card can be sent to your work address if you are able to receive it without these identifiers.
I live in Mexico (or Canada). Can I apply for a Premio Card?
No. The cardholder must be a U.S. resident.
What is a MasterCard Business Card?
The MasterCard Business Card is a high-status card that was designed for small business owners and provides a number of powerful benefits.
I want to switch from Premio Card to Premio Plus Card.
Since the card membership agreement differs, please apply for the card of your choice.
How to Use Card
Are there any fees or interest for a cash advance?
A cash advance fee will be the greater of $15.00 or 5% of the transaction. For additional information about Annual Percentage Rates (APRs), fees, and costs, see the Summary of Credit Terms.

I entered the wrong PIN during a cash advance transaction and since then my card has been blocked. What should I do?
Your card is blocked automatically if you press the wrong PIN three times. Please contact customer service to unblock your card. If you forgot your PIN, please set up your new PIN on online account or the automated system (1-855-578-8703).
Can I use my Premio Card outside of the US?
You can use your card at any MasterCard merchants all over the world without a foreign transaction fee*. Some merchants do not accept cards issued outside their country.

When I use my Premio Card, will my U.S. credit history be affected?
If you register your social security number at the time of application or register to your account once you receive a social security card, your credit card usage will be reported to the Credit Bureaus so that you can build a U.S. credit history.
Can my Premio Card be used to verify my identity with the Social Security Administration?
We advise seeking an alternate form of validating your identity with the Social Security Administration than your Premio Card. For data security purposes, your account number is encrypted when sent to the credit bureau. Because of this encryption, the Social Security Administration will be unable to verify your Premio Card account number for personal authentication purposes.
Billing & Payment
My balance reached my credit limit and I cannot use my card. What should I do?
You may make a payment before the closing date. Your available credit will reflect once the payment is posted. Click here to make an online payment.
I mailed the check but my payment has not been processed yet. What should I do?
It takes approximately 4-5 bsiness days to post if you mailed your payment. Please contact customer service if your payment has not been processed after 10 business days.
When is my statement closing date?
Every account has a different statement closing date. Your statement is mailed out the following business day after the statement closing date. Please contact customer service to inquire about your closing date. You can check your statements your online account as well.
What is "Minimum Payment Due" on my statement?
The Minimum payment Due is the minimum amount you need to pay by the end of the due date. If you do not pay this amount by the due date, your account status will be marked as "Past Due" and a Late Fee up to $40 will be charged to your account.Please see the Summary of Credit Terms for important information on rates, fees, costs, conditions and limitations.

How do I pay the card balance?
The sum of my current balance and available credit is not equal to my credit line. Why?
There may be authorized transactions which have not been posted yet. The amount will be deducted from your available credit.
How do I request previous statements?
Please login to your online account and reprint your statement.

How do I access my online account?
You need to enroll in online account. Click "Enroll" button and enter the required information.
I don't have a social security number due to visa status, can I access to online account?
Yes you can. Please contact customer service for further information.
I fotgot my login ID or password.
Please click "Forgot ID/Password?" on the login page.
Will an online payment be posted on weekends or holidays?
Payments will only be processed on normal business days.
Is there a maximum limit on the payment amount?
The maximum amount payable is equal to your current balance.
When will my online payment be posted?
Payments are posted to your account on the same day if you submit before 5:00 pm Central Time. If a payment is submitted after 5:00 pm Central Time or during weekends or holidays, it will be posted on the following business day. The actual deduction from your bank account takes approximately 2 to 4 business days.
The online payment has not been posted. Why?
The bank account information you registered may be wrong or the payment was not processed due to insufficient fund. Please contact customer service for further assistance.
Can I cancel an online payment?
You can cancel a payment by 5:00 pm Central Time.
I have cancelled my card but I still have a balance. Can I make a payment online?
Yes you can make a payment online after closing your account.
Closing Your Account
I would like to use my Premio Card until the last minute before I return to Japan. How do I cancel my card?
Please call customer service in Japan to close your account.
